This Bright Tangerine Threaded Adapter Ring for Clamp-On Matte Box, serves as a step-up ring that enables the attachment of a clamp-on type matte box to a lens with a 95mm filter thread diameter. Differentiating itself from other step-up rings, this adapter features a rear projecting 114mm ring.
By utilising this adapter, users can mount their clamp-on matte box closer to the front of their lens, minimizing the risk of vignetting when using wide lenses. It should be noted, however, that this design does not facilitate the mounting of filters on the lens. The adapter is equipped with a step cut that permits its use with the Bright Tangerine Black Hole adapter. Importantly, it is important to mention that the Black Hole adapter and matte box are not provided with this product.
