The DJI Focus Pro LiDAR unit is designed to be used with the RS 3 Pro and RS 4 Pro gimbal stabilizers, providing solo cinematographers with an intuitive and easy way to achieve intelligent autofocus. This unit is equipped with an expanded 76,800 ranging points, a 30 Hz refresh rate, and a maximum detection area of 65.6'. With these features, it can effortlessly focus on objects in motion, supporting both wide-angle and telephoto lens configurations.
To ensure accurate focus, the unit includes a built-in camera with a focal length equivalent to 30mm and a field of view of 70°. Depending on the requirements of your shoot, you can toggle between wide-angle, telephoto, and focus spot modes. Additionally, when paired with the RS 4 Pro gimbal, the LiDAR unit activates ActiveTrack Pro, which enhances recognition and tracking performance, especially with multiple subjects or subjects at a distance. For precise cinema-style autofocus, the unit is compatible with the Focus Pro Motor.
Mounting the LiDAR unit onto your RS 3 or 4 Pro series gimbal or camera is convenient, as it can be attached using a cold shoe or a 1/4"-20 thread. Power for the unit is supplied through a USB-C power cable.
