The DPA Microphones 2017 Supercardioid Shotgun Microphone has been built to provide exceptional sound quality for a range of professional applications. Whether you're in the field for broadcasting, journalism, location recording, theatre, or TV and film productions, this microphone delivers natural, crystal-clear audio. It boasts a user-friendly design without any switches or controls, making setup a breeze. You can easily use it in fixed positions, on booms, or mounted to a camera. The low-noise supercardioid condenser capsule offers an impressive 130 dB dynamic range and can handle peak SPLs up to 143 dB with minimal distortion (less than 1%), ensuring accurate and clear capture of various sound sources. To operate the 2017, simply connect it using a standard 3-pin XLR connector and provide it with 48V phantom power.
