The DPA Microphones 6066 CORE Subminiature Omnidirectional Headset Microphone with MicroLock (Beige) is a subminiature, lightweight omnidirectional headset microphone with an advanced, fully adjustable stainless steel headset mechanism. The barely noticeable dual-ear design offers a very comfortable wearing experience for presenters and performers, while the tiny 3 mm mic capsule provides broadcast-quality sound that meets the demanding standards of theatre, TV, and live-event professionals.
Comfortable, secure fit
The 6066 fits the wearer using 3-point ear grips with spring mechanisms that hold comfortably above and below the ears and at the side of the head for added security. The dual-ear construction helps keep the headset stable while remaining discreet and comfortable during extended use.
Adjustable boom and cable management
The 2-way adjustable boom system, with both length and height adjustment, features an anti-rotate mechanism that makes it easy to position the small mic capsule for optimal sound quality. A sliding lock mechanism secures the boom in place once adjusted. In addition, the 90° cable management system protects the cable from stress and routes it down the wearer’s back, where it remains out of sight.
CORE technology and power
DPA’s CORE technology is at the heart of the electret-condenser capsule, delivering an ultra-low noise floor and wide dynamic range, even though this capsule is 60% smaller than comparable DPA models. The 6066 is powered by 5 to 10 V plug-in power from a wireless microphone transmitter and features a modular design with a MicroLock output connector, with adapters for wireless bodypacks available separately.
