The Elgato Wave:3 USB Microphone is a USB electret-condenser microphone that comes in a sleek white design. It is suitable for various applications such as podcasting, streaming, gaming, and recording. By connecting the mic to your computer through a USB Type-C connector, you can record at high resolutions of up to 24-bit / 96 kHz. The USB port also allows for computer return audio to be monitored through the 3.5mm headphone jack, along with your own voice. Conveniently, you can control the microphone gain, headphone volume, and the blend between your live vocal and computer audio using a knob and LED indicators. Additionally, the microphone features a capacitive mute function that can be activated using a button on top of the mic.

For podcasters and streamers, Elgato's Wave Link app offers control over 9 independent input channels on your Mac or PC. This allows you to mix game audio, voice chat, music, alerts, samples, and more. The Wave:3 comes with a desktop stand that includes an adjustable U-mount, allowing for precise positioning. The stand's padded base helps reduce vibration noise. If desired, you can detach the stand and utilize the included adapter to attach the microphone to boom stands and suspension arms. To enhance speech clarity, the electret-condenser mic capsule is protected by a steel grille that reduces breath and plosive noise.
