Designed to meet the needs of industrial professionals who require a reliable and high-performing light, the Fenix Flashlight WF30RE Intrinsically Safe Rechargeable Flashlight is the first rechargeable flashlight that has been certified safe for use in explosive environments. It holds certifications from IECEx, ATEX, and CSA, affirming its safety in Zone 1 and Zone 2 environments with explosive gases, as well as Zone 21 and Zone 22 environments with combustible dust. Crafted from Type III hard anodised aluminium, this flashlight provides three brightness levels, with a maximum output of 280 lumens. Its neutral white LED and orange peel reflector create an illumination that is easy on the eyes. At the low power setting of 30 lumens, the flashlight can run for up to 120 hours on a single charge.
Controlling the light is simple with the side-mounted push button. The WF30RE has an IP68 waterproof rating, allowing it to be submerged up to 6.6 feet for 30 minutes. It has also been drop-tested to a height of 3.3 feet. Its design underscores its professional nature—requiring an 8mm allen wrench to remove the tailcap. However, recharging the flashlight does not require opening it. Instead, users can simply plug the charge cable into the covered port on the neck of the light.
