This lightweight but full-featured headlamp offers brightness levels of 70, 200, and 500 lumens on the spot beam, 30 lumens on the flood, and four lumens on the strobe, with runtime on a full battery charge anywhere from three to 300 hours depending on the mode. A lockout setting prevents accidental activation on your way to the trail, and the lamp can run on three AAA batteries if recharging by AC power isn't possible.

The lamp tilts a full 60° so you can place the beam where you need it. Along with being adjustable, the headband is also breathable for comfort and bears reflective markings for safety. The HL18R-T carries an IP66 water-resistance rating, so it will continue working just fine if you get caught out in the rain, and is model-tested to withstand being dropped 4.9'/1.5m to a hard surface.
