The Fujinon MKX50-135mm T2.9 Lens is a cine-style zoom lens specifically designed for X-mount cameras with a Super 35mm-sized sensor. With its electrical contacts, it can easily communicate with X-series cameras. This lens boasts a mechanical design that features three independent lens control rings: focus, iris, and zoom. Each ring is equipped with a cine-style gear with a 0.8 MOD, allowing seamless compatibility with standard cine-style lens accessories. Furthermore, the focus ring offers approximately 200° of rotation, enabling precise focus pulls, while the clickless iris allows for smooth iris pulls. Additionally, the lens includes a macro mode for close focusing capabilities.
Aside from its exceptional features, this lens is color matched to other Fujinon lenses, such as the HK, ZK, and XK series. This functionality allows for seamless intercutting between lenses. Moreover, with its 85mm front, the lens can be used with various cine-style matte boxes when paired with optional step-up rings (rings sold separately). Despite its impressive capabilities, this lens remains lightweight, weighing only 2.16 pounds. This makes it an ideal cinema zoom lens that maintains focus and aperture throughout the entire focal length range. Designed for cameras with a Fuji X-mount, it possesses a short flange focal distance. Additionally, the lens allows for flange focal distance adjustment, ensuring optimal compatibility with the specific camera being used.
