The Godox AD300Pro II All-in-One Outdoor Flash marks a significant upgrade from its predecessor, the AD300Pro, by introducing advanced professional features coupled with a refreshed, more streamlined design. Godox continues to enhance its Witstro line with the 300Ws AD300Pro II, which stands out for its 16 colour groups, an easy-to-use colour screen, and a powerful 12W bi-colour LED modelling light. A key highlight is the one-tap sync capability with the separately available X3 trigger, allowing for seamless synchronisation. The AD300Pro II also delivers a wider power output range from 1/512 to 1/1 in 0.1-stop increments and full TTL support, ensuring compatibility with the auto flash systems of Canon, Nikon, FUJIFILM, OM SYSTEM, Panasonic, Sony, Leica, and Pentax cameras. The flash head features a recycle time ranging from 0.1 to 1.5 seconds, a robust freeze mode for action shots, and a lightweight 2.6 lb construction—making it especially suitable for outdoor use. Included accessories for the flash body are a reflector, battery, charging cable, and a convenient carry bag.
Better Performance
The detachable battery of the AD300Pro II provides up to 350 full-power flashes, with recycle times from a rapid 0.01 to 1.5 seconds. Its 10-stop power range and support for high-speed sync times as brief as 1/8000 second enable excellent creative control. The new freeze mode offers flash durations from an ultra-short 1/2310 to 1/24,390 second, perfect for freezing fast-moving subjects. Outside of freeze mode, standard flash durations range from 1/220 to 1/14,920 second.
Improved Design
Godox has refined the AD300Pro II’s physical appearance, delivering a more sophisticated and contemporary form factor for intuitive local control. A major enhancement is the Colour-Stable mode, which ensures consistent colour temperature throughout the flash’s power spectrum. Set at 6000K, the AD300Pro II is ideal for on-location portraits, editorial sessions, and commercial photography.
One-Tap Sync Capability
With support for the separately available X3 trigger, the AD300Pro II provides a rapid one-tap sync feature to help streamline your shooting process. This wireless sync function minimizes time spent on managing extensive channels and ID configurations—simply press the wireless sync button on both the X3 and the AD300Pro II for instant synchronisation, so you can focus on capturing great images.
16 Groups with Colour Identification
Integrated within Godox’s 2.4 GHz wireless X system, the AD300Pro II supports a range of up to 328 feet, with 16 groups, 32 channels, and 99 IDs to accommodate complex lighting setups. Wireless control is available using the optional X3, XPro series, X2T, or X1 triggers. The 16 colour group feature is particularly useful, visually displaying distinct colours on the flash head for group identification, even from afar.
Intuitive Settings
Operating the flash is simplified with group colour indicators, a full-colour display, and a responsive metal control dial. Its straightforward menu system and dedicated local buttons make adjustments effortless. Godox has also upgraded the bi-colour LED modelling light, now adjustable from 2800 to 6000K with dimmable output from 10 to 100%. With CRI and TLCI ratings of 97 and 98, the LED modelling light ensures accurate previews and can be utilized as additional on-set lighting.
Widely Compatible
The AD300Pro II natively uses a Godox mount, but with optional adapters, users can access Bowens, Broncolor, Profoto, and Elinchrom mounts, greatly expanding lighting possibilities. This compatibility supports a wide variety of light shapers and modifiers—from snoots and barndoor kits to long focus reflectors, flash projectors, and numerous softboxes. With dedicated adapters like the S3 or AD-AB, you can effortlessly attach beauty dishes, reflectors, projection attachments, and quick-release umbrella softboxes in various shapes and sizes, making the AD300Pro II a truly versatile lighting solution.
