Hardware-wise, 8K Arcana VRR features 1 HDMI input, 2 HDMI outputs with scaling option, 1 eARC output, USB type A for USB stick update, USB type C for power, RS232, OLED display and a rotary/wheel switch on the side allowing to navigate/select and perform changes in the device system menu. 8K Arcana VRR input is capable of 4K and 8K VRR/HDR/HLG/DV/LLDV/HDR10+ up to FRL5/40Gbps/1200MHz for video and support any sound format in existence today, HDMI TX0 and HDMI COPY video outputs are capable of outputting FRL5/VRR/40Gbps/1200MHz or upscaling/downscaling and all sound formats as well. 8K Arcana VRR is running in a Splitter/Pass-thru/Upscaler or Downscaler default mode ensuring your setup remains optimized at its best capabilities.

Easily set the 8K Arcana VRR secondary HDMI output to perform any of the below modes:
a) Split 2 signals up to FRL5 to 2 displays
b) Pass one signal up to FRL5, downscale the other to TMDS for 4K FRL > 2K TMDS
c) Pass one signal up to FRL5, retain 4K and adjust chroma and color depth for 4K FRL > 4K TMDS
d) Pass one signal up to FRL5, extract full audio via self generated stream to feed 1080p AVR
Software-wise, EDID management ensures the best possible mixing of TV video capabilities and SONOS Arc (or other ARC/eARC/HDMI sound system) audio capabilities at all times. HDCP conversion is possible in any way and the device can upscale/downscale and perform signal operations such as Chroma/Color depth/Color space, HDR metadata manager, VRR and normal signal sound extraction. 8K Arcana VRR also allows playback of DV content from LLDV capable source to any HDR10 display and can increase or decrease HDR metadata nits value in real time! All signal information is visible at first sight via OLED or On Screen Display.
