Description

The HIKMICRO Mini2Plus Smartphone Thermal Imaging Camera is designed to inspect electrical equipment, troubleshooting HVAC problems. Equipped with a functional thermal App for smartphones, the Smartphone Module enables you to get thermal imaging on your phone. At just 26.6 × 26.6 × 25mm and weighing only 24g, it’ll fit in your pocket, tool bag, or anywhere convenient for quick and easy access.

Mini2Plus is battery-free so you’ll never need to charge it up or find a charger cable. It’s powered by your phone, designed to run on very little power to maximize your mobile device run time, and ready whenever you are. Designed for where you work, live or relax, the Mini2Plus features IP40-rated aluminium alloy housings and passes strict drop tests up to 1m (3.3 feet).

I'm pretty impressed with this unit. It's tiny and light, and successfully located a mouse in the garden at night, so should do well in the forest looking for wildlife in the dark. It's surprisingly sharp after manual focusing.
