The ikan BP2-SU Sony "BP-U" DV Battery Plate is designed for use with ikan's V8000HDMI v2 LCD monitor. This plate attaches to the back of the monitor and conveniently allows you to power it with the same Sony "BP-U"-series batteries used by camcorders such as the PMW-EX1R.
