Even without an optional riser, this stand base allows for direct mounting of lights with a 1-1/8" spigot, making it ideal for low-angle shooting. Additionally, it features a retractable 5/8" stud to accommodate lights with 5/8" receivers. Designed with stability in mind, the base has a generous 29.5" wide footprint, as well as convenient braking wheels for easy movement and a levelling leg that compensates for uneven terrain. When fully in use, the base stands at 14.4" high, and it conveniently folds down to a compact 14" for effortless storage and transport.
