The Laowa Proteus 2x Anamorphic 100mm T2 Lens is a compact and slender anamorphic lens designed for high-definition video capture. It is compatible with S35+ sensor cameras like the ALEXA 35 and RED V-RAPTOR. With a 100mm focal length, this lens offers interchangeable PL and EF mounts, a wide aperture range of T2 to T22 for deep depth of field, 10 iris blades for soft bokeh and shallow depth of field, and a 2x anamorphic squeeze to achieve a vintage cinema-style anamorphic look. Additionally, with the use of an optional 1.4x full-frame expander adapter, Proteus lenses can cover a full-frame sensor.
Featuring a minimum focus distance of 39 inches, this prime lens delivers anamorphic qualities such as high contrast, silver lens flares, and a horizontal field of view of 29.1°. It also includes measurement markings in feet, 0.8 MOD cine gears on the focus and aperture rings, a 114mm front diameter, and a 105mm filter thread. The lens comes with both PL and EF mounts, a hard case, a support foot, and a tool kit.
