Description
The Magewell Ultra Encode HDMI Plus Universal 4K Encoder allows you to stream DCI 4K video from your HDMI source device. This compact and versatile device supports input resolutions up to DCI 4K60 with a 4:2:0 colour space and DCI 4K30 with 4:4:4 or 4:2:2. It encodes the video to NDI|HX2, NDI|HX3, and H.264/H.265 formats, and offers Wi-Fi or Ethernet connectivity for live streaming to various IP destinations such as Facebook Live, Twitch, and YouTube.
Featuring an HDMI input and loop-through output, the unit also includes two USB-A ports that allow you to add optional modems for worldwide 4G/5G streaming. Supported streaming protocols include different versions of NDI, RTMP, RTMPS, SRT, and HLS. You can control the device remotely through a web browser on your computer or smartphone. Additionally, it can be powered through PoE and comes with a T-bracket for easy mounting.
