The Manfrotto MH293A3-RC1 Aluminum 3-Way Head is a compact head for photo and video shooting. With an ergonomic pan bar that's sheathed in no-slip rubber, camera movements are precise and simple to execute. A single quick-lock action frees movement in both panoramic and tilt directions, for intuitive and fast execution of changes in camera orientation.
The head tilts -90 to +90° front to back and pans a full 360° so you can follow the action anywhere it goes as you capture video. For portrait orientation for photography, the head also tilts 90° horizontally.
The MH293A3-RC1 head includes a 785PL quick-release camera plate, which features a video pin for added camcorder stability. The release is a pull-down-and-turn mechanism that's situated underneath the head.
Note! Many tripods that are appropriate for this head have a 1/4"-20 screw, which will not fit the 3/8"-16 thread of this head without a reducer bushing – sold separately.
