Description
The Neumann MCM 114 SET GUITAR Cardioid Miniature Clip-On Microphone System is designed for discerning musicians and engineers, concert venues, equipment rental houses, and event-production companies. It offers a professional-grade instrument microphone that is perfect for close miking a variety of instruments including guitars, ukuleles, dobros, acoustic basses, and cellos. Taking electret technology to Neumann's exceptional standards, this mic allows for capturing the details of both loud and soft instruments without any distortion or self-noise. It securely clips onto your instrument and is suitable for both wired and wireless applications, supporting traditional XLR mic preamps for studio recording and wireless transmitters for live performances.
Included in the MCM 114 SET GUITAR system is a KK 14 cardioid capsule head, a flexible 6" gooseneck, and an MC 9 clip for mounting the gooseneck on your instrument. The system also comes with an AC 31 cable featuring 3.5mm locking connectors, enabling you to connect the capsule to either the included MCM 100 48V phantom-powered XLR output-stage module or the locking mini-jack input commonly found on Sennheiser wireless transmitters. With its modular construction, this system is built to last, ensuring a long service life. Each unit is manually assembled in Germany to meet Neumann's high standards, providing exceptional tonal consistency and the iconic Neumann aesthetics and handling that you would expect.
