This desktop storage enclosure offers eight 2.5/3.5" SATA drive bays and supports various RAID modes such as 0, 1, 0+1, 4, 5, and JBOD. With transfer speeds up to 2586 MB/s in RAID 0, the ThunderBay 8 is equipped with two Thunderbolt 3 ports for daisy-chaining up to six drives. Additionally, these ports can be used to connect to multiple displays, including up to two 4K displays or a 5K display.
Constructed with an aluminium body, the ThunderBay 8 features a locking front panel and a Kensington Lock slot to secure the storage array physically.
