This shoe-mounted adapter is powered by the camera through the hot shoe, offering two XLR inputs for professional microphones. Additionally, there is a 3.5mm stereo audio input for alternative mic options.
32-bit Float Recording*
The camera delivers 32-bit float recording, improving the quality and efficiency of the entire workflow. With its wide dynamic range, the 32-bit float format records more information, from quiet to loud sounds. As a result, there is no need for tedious sound level adjustments during audio recording. Video and music can be managed in a single file, making post-production much more efficient.
Featuring a control panel with physical dials and controls, the adapter allows for easy adjustment of levels, gain, and low cut filter for each input individually. It supports high-resolution recording formats up to 96 kHz and 24-bit. The adapter also provides 48V phantom power to either the dual XLR inputs or the 3.5mm input. For cable management, a cable clamp is included, and a cold shoe mount on top of the unit enables support for additional accessories.
