Pelican designed the 2690 HeadsUp Lite LED Headlight for use during challenging activities like climbing and caving; or in hazardous jobs such as mining. The light comes with a comfortable cloth strap for when worn on the head, and a non-slip rubber strap for use on safety helmets. Its single 60-Lumens output is bright enough to accomplish most tasks, and the adjustable angle head allows users to precisely place the beam where it is most needed. A simple rotating switch on the head is easy to find and a cinch to manipulate - even while wearing gloves. Made of chemical and impact resistant ABS thermoplastic polymer, the light withstands the rigours of extreme conditions and is IPX7-rated to be submersible to a depth of 1 m for up to 30 minutes. It runs on three easy to replace, AAA batteries (included) and weighs in at a mere 116 g.
