The Sony ALCSH152 Lens Hood is designed for the FAE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS lens and has a petal design that will not cause any vignetting in the image while it is mounted to the front of the lens. At the same time, it prevents lens flare by blocking stray and extraneous light. It also protects the lens from accidental impact and damage. Additionally, the bayonet lens hood can be used as a spare or as a replacement for the original that came with the lens.
