PowerShield RT Mounted External Maintenance Bypass Switch 6kVA and 10kVA with three modes of operation: UPS, Bypass and Bypass & Isolate. In the “Bypass and Isolate” position there is no voltage present at the input and output terminals of the UPS. Hence in this position, a trained technician can safely work on components within the UPS. Also, if need be the UPS can be safely removed and replaced, without danger to the technician and without interruption to the load.
