Really Right Stuff Base Plate for Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II

Description

This Base Plate for Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II from Really Right Stuff is designed specifically for this camera. With this base plate's anti-twist flanges and 1/4"-20 mounting screw, it creates a snug fit against the body. Once the dovetail plate is on, quick release functionality has been added to the camera. Also, this base plate is compatible with all of Really Right Stuff clamps and most other Arca-type heads.

The CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminium plate maintains complete access to the battery door without any obstruction to the tilting LCD monitor of the camera. An option for an L-component is available that will fit the plate's modular design and make a custom-fit L-plate. In addition, a boss has been machined into the side of the plate so an accessory hand or shoulder strap can loop through and carry the camera.

The plate itself is resistant to scuffs and scratches because of the type II black anodising the plate has gone through; furthermore, the base plate has a laser engraved centre mark on the back to align it on a head.
