The Cold Shoe Mounting Spud is a machined accessory that enables you to attach a cold shoe-mounted accessory to rigs or camera setups. The Cold Shoe Spud is typically used in conjunction with a microMount™ or a grip rod to attach a Cold Shoe Accessory to any industry-standard 15mm rail. For the Canon EOS C300 this is extremely helpful to attach the LCD/audio accessory to your ultraCage™ rig.
In addition, the spud also features a 1/4"-20 female tap on the opposite end so it can be used for other accessories as well.
