Description
The Rode Streamer X Compact Audio Interface is a revolutionary new product that combines a professional audio interface and video capture card in a compact, easy-to-use console. It features studio-grade audio inputs for XLR, line-level devices and headsets with an ultra-low-noise, high-gain Revolution Preamp™ and powerful APHEX audio processing delivering pristine sound quality. It also features the same compatibility with RØDE Series IV wireless microphones that will be coming to the RØDECaster Pro II in the next firmware update.
On the video front, it offers 4K30 / 2K60 streaming and up to 2K120 / 4K60 pass-through for incredible video quality in a wide variety of applications, from streaming and gaming, to podcasting and content creation, to business presentations.
Two USB-C connections seamlessly accommodate dual PC setups, and four customisable SMART pads allow for on-the-fly triggering of sound or voice FX and other actions on a computer. It is also fully compatible with RØDE software solutions, including UNIFY, RØDE Central and RØDE Connect for expanded functionality and unmatched flexibility.

Performs well. Using the Rode wireless ME and Shure SM7B. This has ample power to run the Shure SM7B and I can select either seemly without any click. So when I want to slow things down I can use the Shure microphone and when I want to walk through the slides (green screen) I can switch to the Rode microphone. I am using sing OBS to run the scenes and record through OBS. I am a lecturer and I use Teams and Zoom, and music/sound/modifier output works well (with original sound turned on). Have loaded royalty free music to some of the buttons. Surprisingly easy to remember a few sets of buttons, but wonder why they are not LCD buttons. For each lecture I try to work with 4 buttons so I don't have to arrow through options. I have intro music, outdo music, perhaps one modifier and or two sound effects like clapping. No reason to use the video mute button at all - bit of a waste there. Cool if that could be customisable. Video capture card is excellent - using an older 4k camera with a nice lens. I have one outstanding question recently asked to Rode - the HDMI thru option seem to require the thru video monitor to be the same resolution as the what the camera is feeding to OBS. So if you want 4k output from the camera then you thru monitor needs to be 4k as well. This is a great device and in recommend it.Read more Read less
