The Shotgun Mic Foam and Windjammer Combo from Rycote is a slip on wind solution for shotgun microphones. The foam features a 12cm inner depth and a standard hole opening. It features an open-cell acoustic foam windscreen that offers up to 10 dB wind-noise attenuation and a synthetic-fur windjammer that offers up to 12 dB of wind-noise attenuation.
The foam-windscreen slips over the microphone head. The windjammer slips over the foam. The combo is designed to keep high frequency loss to a minimum while providing resistance against the effects of moisture and UV light, when used to capture audio recordings in outdoor conditions such as boats, beaches or stormy weather and more.
