Description
The Rycote Standard Hole Classic Softie Wind-Screen (240mm Long, 18 to 20mm Diameter Hole, Gray) provides a quick, simple, robust and cost effective windshield for the tough environment of modern day ENG and location recording. The Softie Windshield is a slip-on open-cell foam, with integral fur cover. The Softie will reduce wind-noise, protect your mic and is the standard world wide in TV. Softie windshields are available in a large range of sizes to fit most popular shotgun microphones.
Both the acoustic foam and synthetic fur are made from materials which are specially designed and manufactured for the purpose, and as a result up to 40 dB of wind-noise reduction without any adverse effect on High-Frequency. In addition the foam is not susceptible to UV or moisture damage, giving this product great longevity.
Advanced materials, adhesives and assembly techniques all combine to make the Softie an extremely tough product that provides excellent wind protection in the harshest of environments.
Suitable for - microphones with a shaft diameter of 19mm to 22mm and has an overall length of 24cm.

DHL offers a great express shipping service to Australia from New Zealand. We are proud to be able to offer express
shipping to main cities on the east coast of Australia, within the same timeframe ( If not quicker ) than local
Australian courier companies. Prior to the Covid-19 outbreak, service standards for these main centers was
overnight. However these services have been impacted greatly, and as such the overnight service has been suspended.
Overnight shipping will likely resume once things have returned to normal.

Whilst this service is extremely efficient and will likely be delivered within 1-2 days 99.9% of the time, it cannot be guaranteed. In the case where something were to go wrong with your delivery and it doesn’t arrive within the specified time frame, in most cases it will be delivered by the next day.
While not all major cities are eligible for overnight delivery, they still benefit from this great service. Other centers throughout Australia will have a typical delivery ETA of 2-4 days. (Excluding rural delivery address where this ETA can be extended to an additional three or more days).
