SHAPE REVOLT VCT Universal Baseplate
The SHAPE REVOLT VCT Universal Baseplate boasts a sliding camera plate, suitable for rigs of various sizes. Cameras attach via 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 screws to the top plate, which then slides onto the shoulder plate. This forward-backward movement allows for ideal weight balancing and further fine-tuning is possible using the movable shoulder pad. Both the front and rear 15mm rod clamps secure standard 15mm accessories, such as matte boxes, follow focus units, lens motors, lens supports, battery plates, or external recorders. Since the front rod clamp is attached directly to the top plate, accessories remain in place even as the rig is adjusted. Handles mount to ARRI standard rosettes on each side, affording flexibility in grip arrangement. For tripod work, the baseplate can be quickly attached to a standard VCT-14 ENG quick release, saving valuable time on set.
The adjustable sliding baseplate ensures quick and optimal positioning for your camera and accessories to find the center of gravity. The height-adjustable rod clamp ensures proper LWS alignment in relation to the camera’s optical axis, while front and rear rod clamps extend your rig as needed.
