SHAPE has released a new cage specifically designed for the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K/6K Pro/6K G2 (BM6KC). Made from durable aluminum, this formfitting cage provides a secure fit for your camera while allowing easy access to controls. It offers multiple mounting options with threaded holes in various sizes, making it easy to attach accessories such as monitors, microphones, or other gear. Additionally, an optional HDMI/USB-C Protector Clamp is available to prevent accidental damage to your camera's ports. The cage features an Arca-style plate on the bottom for quick attachment and detachment from a compatible quick-release baseplate or gimbal. For added convenience, a NATO rail design is located on the left side of the cage for attaching optional handles or grips. Multiple cold shoe mounts allow you to directly add accessories like lights, microphones, or wireless transmitters. The cage also includes a cage extender for accommodating an optional camera battery pack, ensuring extended shooting time. If desired, an ARRI-compatible top handle can be attached for easy carrying and maneuvering. For more flexibility, an ARRI rosette attachment can be added to the cage. And if you need extra storage, an optional SSD bracket mount can be attached for recording high-resolution footage. In addition to the cage, SHAPE also offers the SHAPE ARRI Locating Top Handle (ALTH). This top handle utilizes a locking 3/8"-16 thumbscrew with locating pins to securely attach to your camera cage. It features one 15 mm rod bracket, as well as one locking and two standard cold shoe mounts for attaching additional accessories. The handle also provides multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for added versatility.
