The SHAPE Camera Cage Kit with Baseplate and Follow Focus Pro for Sony PXW-FX9 is a lightweight baseplate suitable for use by neophytes and professionals alike. Made from CNC-machined aluminium, the baseplate is made to withstand the rigours of the production day. The shoulder pad allows it to sit comfortably on your shoulder. The top of the baseplate features two rubber strips to protect your camera. It incorporates two ARRI-compatible rosettes for attaching handle accessories. The top of the baseplate features a 3.5"-long slot that enables adjusting your camera's position for balance adjustments.

Front and rear 15mm LWS rod clamps enable you to mount the included 8 and 4" pairs of rods to support you lens accessories in front, and power/monitoring accessories in the rear. An included 3mm Allen Key allows you to adjust the rod clamps, and the rear rod clamp is removable and attaches to the Revolt Shoulder Baseplate by two M4 screws. On the bottom of the baseplate is a V-lock plate that is compatible with most VCT baseplates. The V-lock plate has both a 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting hole.

Sony FX9 V-lock quick release baseplate (FX9BP)#####

The FX9 baseplate is designed to match the Sony FX9 optical center. The bracket system with magnet let you swivel the baseplate to the left for an easy access to the camera screws. It is designed with 2 standard Arri rosettes for handles or accessories mount. The quick release adapter plate is compatible with most VCT tripod plate and there is also a protective rubber pads on top of the plate to protect your camera. Two 15 mm lightweight rod blocs can be fixed to the front and rear of the baseplate, allowing you to install more camera accessories. The safety ratchet knobs are built in a way to apply an optimal pressure to the rods. The thick shoulder pad produces maximum comfort and is made of gel padding and slip-free material. The baseplate is also designed with a sophisticated tool box to store your extra screws and Allen key. Quick access to your extra screws and Allen key can be a time saver, even more so, when you are in the middle of a shoot. The shoulder plate is equipped with 1/4-20 & 3/8-16 threaded holes allowing extra screws to be stored and there is a magnet at the back to attach your Allen key.

Add accessories and handheld functionality to your Sony PXW-FX9 camera with this kit made of CNC aluminium. It includes a form fitting side plate with Arri rosette , a top plate and a rear insert plate connecting together to protect your camera. The kit features several 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes with anti rotating holes. The top plate is also designed to fit the native Sony FX9 handle.

Sony FX9 rear insert plate (FX9RIP)#####

The rear insert plate is a CNC aluminium support plate compatible with the Sony FX9 camera. The plate mounts to the camera body via three M4 mounting screws. The center of the plate is designed with (3) 3/8-16 and (3) 1/4-20 threaded holes for tripod mount. The large surface of the plate also provides necessary support when the camera is mount to a tripod or a shoulder mount.

Pair of 15 mm rods 8" long that fit studio and LWS 15 mm rod clamps, allowing you to use available rod mounted accessories. The rods are machined from hollow aluminium tubes and feature chamfered ends that make it easier to insert into 15 mm rod clamps, even if the rod isn't perfectly aligned or is at a slight angle to the rod clamp.

This pair of SHAPE 15 mm Aluminium Rods (4") connect into your camera rig, extend it, and let you add various SHAPE and third-party accessories compatible with 15 mm rods. With these two rods and with a few fundamental accessories, you can most certainly even begin building your own rig from scratch. The rods are each 15 mm in diameter, 4 inches long, hollow, non-threaded, and made of reliable aluminium coated with a clear finish.
