The cage is the centerpiece, wrapping your camera in an external shell that allows you to attach accessories without straining the camera. The included top handle mounts on the cage, it is easy to adjust, and features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting holes, as well as a tilting bracket suitable for adding accessories.
The Compact Revolt Shoulder Baseplate is designed to take your camera and rig from a tripod with a VCT mounting system (not included) to your shoulder without having to break down your rig. Rounding out this kit and making for comfortable handholding are the left- and right-side handgrips with built-in extensions. These rubber-coated grips feature ARRI-style rosettes that attach to the baseplate and have two points of articulation, using the push-button adjustment system that allows for fast, secure, and one-handed adjustments.

The top handle features SHAPE's well-known push-button release system, which is fast, secure, and won't slow down your shoot. The top handle also features a tilting bracket suitable for adding a monitor, light, or even a microphone to your rig, keeping your rig light and compact by avoiding additional accessory mounting equipment.
The durable 3-piece cage is built around the top plate that you mount on your KOMODO, and this allows you to mount the side riser panels and the included 15mm rod clamps. Once mounted on your camera, you've created a sturdy external cage that provides accessory mounting holes, as well as ARRI-compatible rosettes on each side for mounting optional grips to help you when handholding the rather boxy camera.
The Top Handle

The RED KOMODO camera's boxy shape is efficient, though not very ergonomically friendly. The cage allows you to add optional grips to your camera via the ARRI-style rosettes, providing the opportunity of making the camera more handheld friendly.
Accessory Mounting on the Cage
- Multiple 1/4"-20 accessory mounting threads for attaching a variety of available accessories, such as articulating arms.
- Additional 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes with ARRI-style anti-twist divots allow you to attach accessories that stay secure and won't unexpectedly twist, which usually happens at the worst moment, ruining the shot.
- Two individual 15mm spring-loaded rod clamps can be mounted on the cage for adding rod-mounted accessories.
Rod Clamps
The individual rod clamps can be attached to the cage and allow you to mount optional 15mm rods. Each clamp uses a spring-loaded lever for securing your rod in the clamp.
SHAPE Compact Quick Handle ARRI Rosette (Black)
The black SHAPE Compact Quick Handle ARRI Rosette consists of a left- and right-hand articulating arm with rubber handgrip. Each arm features a rosette with an M6 metric screw for attaching the handle to cameras and baseplates with ARRI rosettes. Each handle features two points of articulation actuated with SHAPE's patented quick-lock buttons.
The arms attach via the rosettes allowing you to select the attachment angle. Each arm also has two each 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes with anti-twist indents for attaching accessories. The quick-lock buttons are located at the articulation points, one towards your baseplate and the other controlling the angle of the rubber handgrip.

SHAPE Compact Revolt Shoulder Baseplate
The SHAPE Compact Revolt Shoulder Baseplate is a lightweight baseplate suitable for use by neophytes and professionals alike. Made from CNC-machined aluminum, the baseplate is made to withstand the rigors of the production day. The shoulder pad allows it to sit comfortably on your shoulder. The top of the baseplate features two rubber strips to protect your camera. It incorporates two ARRI-compatible rosettes for attaching handle accessories. The top of the baseplate features a 3.5"-long slot that enables adjusting your camera's position for balance adjustments.
Front and rear 15mm LWS rod clamps enable you to mount the included 8 and 4" pairs of rods to support you lens accessories in front, and power/monitoring accessories in the rear. An included 3mm Allen Key allows you to adjust the rod clamps, and the rear rod clamp is removable and attaches to the Revolt Shoulder Baseplate by two M4 screws. On the bottom of the baseplate is a V-lock plate that is compatible with most VCT baseplates. The V-lock plate has both a 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting hole.
