The SHAPE Heavy-Duty Boom Arm for Light Stands is a rigging solution built for lighting, grip, and other production applications where reach, stability, and precise control are critical. Constructed from reinforced stainless steel, the two-section boom extends from 1.74 to 3.05 m, providing flexible positioning for lights, microphones, and accessories in both studio and on-location setups. When balanced with proper counterweights, it supports payloads up to 15 kg at minimum extension and 10 kg at full extension, delivering reliable performance even with heavier fixtures.
At its base, the arm features a spring-loaded ratchet wheel mechanism, enabling smooth 180° tilting adjustments with reduced effort. Its aluminium collar locks and captive knobs ensure secure adjustments. Universal junior and baby mounting interfaces on both ends provide broad compatibility with stands and accessories.
