Description

The SHAPE Quick Release Baseplate with Rear Insert Plate for Sony PXW-FX9 is a lightweight baseplate suitable for use by neophytes and professionals alike. Made from CNC-machined aluminium, the baseplate is made to withstand the rigours of the production day. The shoulder pad allows it to sit comfortably on your shoulder. The top of the baseplate features two rubber strips to protect your camera. It incorporates two ARRI-compatible rosettes for attaching handle accessories. The top of the baseplate features a 3.5"-long slot that enables adjusting your camera's position for balance adjustments.

Front and rear 15mm LWS rod clamps enable you to mount the included 8 and 4" pairs of rods to support you lens accessories in front, and power/monitoring accessories in the rear. An included 3mm Allen Key allows you to adjust the rod clamps, and the rear rod clamp is removable and attaches to the Revolt Shoulder Baseplate by two M4 screws. On the bottom of the baseplate is a V-lock plate that is compatible with most VCT baseplates. The V-lock plate has both a 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting hole.

Sony FX9 rear insert plate (FX9RIP)#####

The rear insert plate is a CNC aluminium support plate compatible with the Sony FX9 camera. The plate mounts to the camera body via three M4 mounting screws. The center of the plate is designed with (3) 3/8-16 and (3) 1/4-20 threaded holes for tripod mount. The large surface of the plate also provides necessary support when the camera is mount to a tripod or a shoulder mount.

15 mm 8" rods (15TUBE8)#####

Pair of 15 mm rods 8" long that fit studio and LWS 15 mm rod clamps, allowing you to use available rod mounted accessories. The rods are machined from hollow aluminium tubes and feature chamfered ends that make it easier to insert into 15 mm rod clamps, even if the rod isn't perfectly aligned or is at a slight angle to the rod clamp.

15 mm 4" rods (15TUBE4)#####

This pair of SHAPE 15 mm Aluminium Rods (4") connect into your camera rig, extend it, and let you add various SHAPE and third-party accessories compatible with 15 mm rods. With these two rods and with a few fundamental accessories, you can most certainly even begin building your own rig from scratch. The rods are each 15 mm in diameter, 4 inches long, hollow, non-threaded, and made of reliable aluminium coated with a clear finish.
