The REVOLT VCT Universal Baseplate with Wooden Handle Grips from SHAPE is a camera support system for shoulder-mounted as well as handheld shooting. It includes the REVOLT VCT universal baseplate and dual maple wooden grips with standard ARRI rosettes. The baseplate comes integrated with a shoulder mount, one pair of 8"(20.3 cm) standard 15 mm rods, and one pair of 4"(10.2 cm) standard 15 mm rods. The camera can be attached via 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 screws to the top plate. The sliding baseplate provides a quick positioning of your camera and accessories for an optimal adjustment of your camera's balance centre.
Featuring a sliding camera plate, SHAPE 's REVOLT VCT Universal Baseplate can accommodate rigs of varying sizes. Simply attach your camera via 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 screws to the top plate, and slide it onto the shoulder plate. Fore and aft movement allows you to balance the weight of your setup properly. Further adjustments can be made by moving the shoulder pad. The 15 mm rod clamps at the front and rear of the baseplate allow you to secure 15 mm accessories such as a matte box, follow focus, lens motors, lens supports, battery plates, or external recorders. Since the front rod clamp is attached to the top plate, the rod-mounted accessories don't need to be repositioned as the rig is adjusted. Additionally, handles can be mounted to the ARRI standard rosettes on either side of the plate. When not shoulder-mounted, the baseplate can be secured to a standard VCT-14 ENG quick release in a matter of seconds, saving time on set.
This pair of Double Wooden Handgrips from SHAPE is designed to attach to shoulder mounts or other rigs with standard ARRI rosettes. These left and right handgrips feature two points of articulation - a quick release push button, and a rotatable ARRI rosette. The 360° of rotation and the handgrips' ergonomic design enable you to adjust each arm individually for your comfort.
These Double Wooden Handgrips are constructed of anodised aluminium with varnished maple grips. The locking mechanisms are made of stainless steel for durability.
