For enhanced versatility, this lens is also offered in Canon EF and PL mounts.

A unified 95mm front diameter and comparable physical characteristics across the entire lens lineup simplify the process of attaching lens accessories, such as matte boxes, follow focuses, and lens control motors. This consistency helps streamline workflows, saving both time and effort on set.

Featuring a 9-bladed iris, the lens produces attractive, smooth out-of-focus bokeh. Both ghosting and flaring are carefully minimized for optimal image clarity. Color reproduction is standardized across the range, ensuring effortless color correction and consistency between lenses.
Professional Features for Filmmaking
Every lens in the FF High-Speed Prime series maintains consistent gear positions, as well as a generous 180° focus barrel rotation for precise control. The lenses are equipped with a clickless iris and linear markings, along with dampeners on each gear ring to ensure quiet, smooth operation. Industry-standard 0.8 module gear pitch is used for compatibility with a variety of cinema accessories, and all markings are engraved for lasting durability. Select engravings use luminous paint, enabling easy visibility in low-light environments.
Robust and Adaptable Construction
To protect your camera’s lens mount, a support foot is integrated into the durable, dust- and water-resistant metal housing. If you need to adapt your FF High-Speed Prime lens to a different camera system, both the Canon EF and Sony E mount versions can be converted between these two mounts by an authorized Sigma service center (please note this is not available for PL mounts).
