The SmallRig 4551 SR-RG2 Multifunctional Wireless Shooting Grip combines a camera grip, selfie stick, and desktop tripod into one versatile device, making it an ideal tool for vlogging, live streaming, and daily filming.
Equipped with modular magnetic wireless control, the grip allows remote operation for selected Nikon, Canon, and Sony cameras, including shutter release, recording, focus, zoom, and custom settings, with a control range of up to 10m (32.8ft). It can be extended to 14.6cm (5.7in) for wider framing and offers 360° pan and 180° tilt (90° forward and backward) for various shooting angles and scenarios.
This grip attaches to the camera using 1/4”-20 screws, with rubber pads on the mount to prevent the camera from scratches. It can also be transformed into a tripod, supporting cameras on a desktop during live streaming or filming. With a load capacity of 1.5kg (3.3lb) when not extended and 0.8kg (1.76lb) when extended, the grip offers stable support for various camera models. The remote control features a USB-C charging port, allowing for a full charge in 2.5 hours, which provides up to 40 hours of use. Furthermore, it can be upgraded via the SmallRig Up App for broader camera compatibility.
