The SmallRig 4980B Cage for Nikon Z50 II is designed to provide comprehensive protection and multiple expansion options for your camera. The cage securely fixes the camera with a 1/4"-20 screw at the bottom and locating blocks on both sides and features built-in silicone padding to prevent scratches on the camera. The cage ensures a snug fit with unobstructed access to camera buttons and interfaces.
The cage features multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes and 1/4"-20 locating holes for attaching accessories like the side handles (ID2093,4346), magic arms (ID3874,3875), HDMI cable clamps (ID4829), monitor supports (ID2903B), and more. The top section features ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes for attaching top handles (ID3765), quick-release top handles (ID4483), and monitor supports (ID2903B). The integrated cold shoe mounts allow for expansion with devices like microphones (ID4387), LED lights (ID4660), and more, while the built-in strap holes are compatible with shoulder straps (ID4882) and wrist straps (ID3848,2456). The cage also features QD interfaces for attaching shoulder straps (ID4118).
The bottom features an Arca-Swiss quick release plate for direct mounting on Arca-type tripods (ID4060,4353) and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilizers, enabling swift transitions between stabilizer, handheld, and tripod setups. Additionally, a dual head wrench at the bottom can be used to facilitate assembly and disassembly.
The package includes a durable 9H hardness anti-scratch tempered glass protector for the LCD screen.
Note:
The tempered glass screen protector may be slightly smaller than the screen, to prevent dust from entering due to a large gap.
The top section of the cage may abstract the use of the camera's built-in flash (the flash may not pop up).
