The SmallRig 5356 IG-02 IntegraGrip Cage (Wireless Controller) is a versatile smartphone cage compatible with most phone models on the market. Designed for video enthusiasts, it enables professional-level recording, live streaming, and micro filmmaking at an affordable price. The cage includes a detachable wireless controller for seamless shutter and record control.
Its ergonomic design ensures a comfortable and stable grip, allowing for quick phone attachment. Multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes and cold shoe mounts facilitate the attachment of various accessories, such as external handles, tripods, microphones, and LED lights, enhancing production quality.
The standard QD socket is compatible with SmallRig’s quick release ecosystem, including top handles and Arca-Swiss mount plates. Additionally, it features dual sets of wrist strap and shoulder strap slots that accommodate professional straps up to 1mm (0.04″) in diameter, providing convenient carrying between shots. The phone clamp incorporates soft V-shaped rubber to prevent accidental button triggering.
Wireless Controller Operation: To power the device on/off, press and hold the button for 3 seconds. To connect, go to your smartphone's Bluetooth settings, select "SmallRig WR-06" from the device list, and initiate pairing. A successful connection is indicated when the status shows "Connected" (the green LED flashes during pairing and switches off when connected). A single button press starts photo capture or video recording, depending on the camera mode. To conserve power, the controller automatically shuts down after 5 minutes of being unpaired or 30 minutes of inactivity when paired. During charging, a steady red LED indicates active power input, while the green LED turns off; the red light extinguishes upon reaching full charge.
Note:
Use with a well-fitted phone case of appropriate thickness and always confirm that the phone is securely clamped before shooting.
Not recommended for intense motion scenarios, as this could increase the risk of phone detachment.
