The SmallRig 5373 Crab-Shaped Clamp with Ballhead Magic Arm is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and stainless steel, featuring CNC machining and precision carving to enhance sturdiness and durability. It incorporates a bionic skeleton structure and a shark clamp design for a stronger clamping force, while the ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes and a 3/8"-16 threaded hole allow for rich accessory expansion.
The clamp supports rods ranging from Φ14mm to Φ60mm and surfaces up to 65mm (2.5 in) thick, allowing for quick mounting of cameras, monitors, LED video lights, and more onto rods, tables, tripod legs, and stabilizer handheld rings. Built-in pads enhance protection and clamping stability.
The ballhead magic arm, secured to the clamp via a set screw, features two adjustable ball heads and a ballhead clamp. The 360-degree adjustable ball heads feature anti-slip knurling for easy tightening, while the joint between the ballhead magic arm and the crab-shaped clamp employs an anti-twist design to prevent loosening. Additionally, a hex hole at the bottom allows for enhanced fastening with an Allen wrench, and a 1/4"-20 screw on the top facilitates the attachment of action cameras, monitors, LED video lights, microphones, and more.
Note:
**** 1. Please do not disassemble the original set screw, as it may cause deflection of the ballhead magic arm.
- Please do not disassemble the original set screw to replace the ballhead magic arm, as it may result in thread failure.
