The SmallRig 5949 Mini Side and Top Handle Kit is designed for comfortable handheld shooting. The kit includes a NATO side handle, an ARRI locating top handle, and a NATO rail, ensuring seamless compatibility with various camera cages. These handles offer versatile expansion options through multiple interfaces, including 1/4"-20 locating holes for attaching accessories like remote controllers (ID3902) or magic arms (ID3873), as well as cold shoe mounts for attaching monitor mounts (ID2905B), microphones (ID3487), or video lights (ID3286B).
The side handle can be mounted on either side of the cage. To switch sides, detach and reconfigure the aluminum connector to the opposite side of the handle. Additionally, it offers 30mm (1.2in) of vertical adjustment via side screws, enabling precise tuning of the center of gravity for optimal balance and control. Compact and lightweight, the handles support loads up to 10kg (22lb). A built-in magnetic Allen wrench facilitates easy assembly and adjustments.
