The SmallRig 5957 "HawkLock" Quick Release Cage Kit for Canon EOS R6 Mark III / R6 Mark II is designed to enhance handheld shooting stability, portability, and accessory expansion. The kit includes a cage, a USB-C & HDMI cable clamp, and a“ HawkLock” top handle.
The kit has incorporated HawkLock quick release interfaces for swift and secure mounting. It features the H21 quick release NATO rail, H38 Arca-Swiss quick release plate, 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 1/4"-20 locating holes, 3/8"-16 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, cold shoe mount, NATO rails, QD interfaces, strap slots, and more for attaching monitors, microphones, tripods, follow focus systems, handles, and other accessories to enhance video content creation in various scenarios.
The cage secures the camera in place with a single 1/4"-20 screw at the base and two locating blocks on the sides, incorporating built-in silicone pads to prevent scratches on the camera. The built-in Arca Swiss quick release plate enables seamless mounting on Arca-type tripods (ID4353,4060) and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilizers, facilitating swift transitions between stabilizer, handheld, and tripod setups.
The ergonomic HawkLock quick release handle with silicone padding enhances ensures a comfortable and stable handheld shooting experience. The HDMI & USB-C cable clamp securely fastens with a single thumbscrew, preventing signal interruptions and ensuring stable signal transmission.
Note:
Remove the side locating blocks on both sides of the cage before mounting.
Not compatible with the DJI RS 4 Mini gimbal.
When used with Cage 5957, the Canon R6 Mark II is incompatible with the included cable clamp. For this configuration, please purchase cable clamp 2981B separately.
