The SmallRig 6028 Advanced "HawkLock" Cage Kit for Sony Alpha 7 V / 7R V / 7 IV is expertly crafted to enhance your low-angle shooting experience while providing robust camera protection and an efficient "HawkLock" quick release system. This kit includes a cage, a clamp for HDMI cable, a "HawkLock" top handle, and a "HawkLock" NATO rail.
The "HawkLock" top handle features SmallRig’s patented "HawkLock" quick release system, allowing for one-touch rapid setup that significantly improves camera mobility and handheld stability for fluid movements. The cage utilizes a three-point locking system for secure mounting without deflection. Built-in pads offer comprehensive protection and prevent scratches, while precision cutouts provide unobstructed access to camera ports, dials, buttons, and the battery compartment.
The cage features multiple mounting points, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, and a "HawkLock" NATO rail for quick attachment of "HawkLock" handles (ID4485,4483). A built-in cold shoe mount accommodates devices like the DJI Mic 2 and lights, while a QD socket at the base allows for shoulder strap attachment. The base is also equipped with a magnetic Allen wrench for quick assembly and disassembly.
The bottom quick release plate, paired with the "HawkLock" H38 Arca-Swiss quick release mount plate (ID4486), enables rapid slide-in attachment with an auto-locking mechanism. The integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate allows for seamless transitions between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups (compatible with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 Mini / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 Mini / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro gimbals).
Additionally , a hinged door at the battery compartment adds grip support for the little finger, while the included c lamp for HDMI c able secures the cable for stable data transmission.
