Description
The Sonnet Allegro Pro 4-Port USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A PCIe Card allows you to add four 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports to your compatible Windows, Mac, or Linux system. This card is equipped with a PCIe 2.0 x4 interface and features dual USB 3.2 Gen 2 controllers, with each controller driving two of the USB ports.
When you connect one drive, data transfer speeds of up to 800 MB/s are supported. When you connect two drives, transfer speeds of up to 600 MB/s can be reached. If all four ports are in use, each port supports speeds of up to 300 MB/s.
The Allegro Pro 4-Port USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A PCIe Card is not only hot-pluggable and hot-swappable, but it is also compatible with Thunderbolt 2 or Thunderbolt 3-to-PCIe card-expansion systems, such as Sonnet's Echo Express and xMac.
