Enhance the capabilities of your Thunderbolt 3-enabled workstation or laptop with the Sonnet DuoModo Echo II DV 2-Slot PCIe 3.0 to Thunderbolt 3 Module. This module is specifically designed to fit into xMac Studio and DuoModo enclosures, as well as Echo rackmount systems. It features two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots that can accommodate full-height, full-length non-GPU expansion cards, such as DV I/O cards.
For optimal performance, you can connect two out of the four Thunderbolt 3 ports to the same host computer. However, if you only have one available Thunderbolt port, you can still utilize the Echo II DV Module by utilizing the daisy chaining feature. The module is equipped with a built-in 400W power supply and a dual-fan cooling system, allowing you to utilize power-hungry expansion cards. It is compatible with Windows 10, macOS 10.12.16, and Linux kernel 5.4 or later systems. Please note that certain expansion cards may require compatible drivers to function with M-Series Macs.
