Description

The Sonnet Echo Express SEL Thunderbolt 3 to Low-Profile PCIe Card Expansion System is designed to provide a solution for Thunderbolt 3-equipped notebooks, SFF desktop systems, and other computers that lack a PCIe slot. It offers a PCIe 3.0 x8 slot to support low-profile PCIe cards measuring up to 6.6". These cards include audio interface, SAS or SATA HBA, 16Gb or 8Gb Fibre Channel, 10Gb Ethernet, or RAID controller PCIe cards, which can all be connected through the Thunderbolt connection. The system is equipped with an integrated variable-speed fan to ensure proper cooling for the PCI card and internal components of the Echo Express SEL.

Featuring two Thunderbolt 3 ports, the Echo Express SEL Thunderbolt 3 Expansion System allows for daisy chaining up to six Thunderbolt devices to your computer. Each port supports data transmission at a rate of up to 40 Gbps and has a convenient USB Type-C design, making it easy to connect the included 1.6' Thunderbolt 3 cable without any hassle. Additionally, a ThunderLok 3 Thunderbolt connector retainer clip is included to secure the cable in place and maintain a stable connection to the chassis.
