Description

The Sonnet Thunderbolt 3 Upgrade Card for Echo Express III-D and III-R offers an excellent solution for upgrading your Thunderbolt 2 system to Thunderbolt 3 with a maximum speed of 40 Gb/s. This upgrade board replaces the existing Thunderbolt interface board on your Echo Express III-D and III-R, eliminating the need for an adapter when connecting to your Thunderbolt 3-equipped computer.

By installing the Thunderbolt 3 interface card, your upgraded Echo Express Thunderbolt 2 system will experience a significant increase in bandwidth of up to 100% compared to the original system. This enhanced bandwidth allows PCIe cards with high bandwidth requirements, such as 16 Gb Fibre Channel and 4K Video I/O cards supporting high frame rates, to perform even better than before.
