The SoundTools CAT Box 8 Audio over Cat 5 Stage Box is a versatile stage box that features 4 male and 4 female XLR connectors, along with main and parallel etherCON connectors. This allows for sending 4 channels of analogue audio, AES3 digital audio, intercom lines, or DMX lighting signals over a single Cat 5e, 6, or 7 cable. With the use of a shielded cable, the system supports balanced analogue signals at distances up to 600', and digital AES/EBU signals up to 330'. CAT Box stage boxes can be daisy-chained and used in various configurations to construct the ideal modular snake system.
