The SohoRAID SR5 is a five drive RAID storage system with self -configurable RAID level based on user’s preferences. It provides optional RAID levels of RAID 0, 1, 0+1, 3, 5 and 6 with RAID level 6 being the most fault-tolerant and safe of all RAID levels allowing up to two drive failures but still keeping all data contained completely intact to give you a piece of mind while you work.
This unit comes with 5 3TB hard drives installed.

Equipped with clear readable LCD display for system monitoring, users can easily monitor and grasp the status of the system whenever and wherever necessary. During system configuration, LCD display also acts a guide to take you through the set up process.
RAID 6 for the highest data safety with other multiple RAID configurations
If you’re looking for the high data safety but still requires high storage volume, then the SR5 would be the system that’s right for you. With RAID 6 being the safest among compact systems, allowing two drive failures but still keeping all data intact and the system operable which allows you to work carefree in a creative and demanding environment. Other configurable RAID levels include RAID 0, 1, 0+1, 3 or 5 depending on specific requirements.
Triple connectivity for Mac or PC
With high-speed 3G eSATA, FireWire 800 and USB 2.0 triple connectivity, the SR5 can be used in Mac or PC environments providing great convenience and flexibility for various applications.
Supports capacity up to 10TB
The SR5 holds any capacity of SATA hard drives up to 2TB per drive bay. With all drive bays installing 2TB drives, in RAID 0 mode, the system will give you a total of 10TB in volume for storage, and under the RAID 6 mode, a total of 6TB in volume for storage with a duo drive used for redundancy purpose.
Removable tray design
If drive replacement becomes necessary, the SR5 is modular designed for effortless removal and install of drives. It’s also protected by a locking mechanism to secure the drive into place.
