LTFS can reduce the need for backup or archive software and allows users to easily exchange data using LTO cartridges or copying data to and from hard drives or SSDs.

Specially designed to give novice and power users equal access to the essential features users need for everyday tape operations. In addition, ATOM includes extensive user-friendly troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities, along with full contextual help and assistance tools. SymplyATOM is designed to work with the SymplyLTO product family and is an out of the box solution. Not only for reading and writing LTFS LTO Tapes, but also for diagnostic checking and collecting and updating firmware log files of the SymplyLTO products. Available for macOS and Windows OS.
