The Symply LTO 2RU SAS Full Height LTO-9 Drive offers a durable 2 RU rackmount chassis that can accommodate one or two full-height LTO-9 tape drives. With SymplyCABLELESS technology, users can easily remove and upgrade the LTO drives, while the integrated quiet fan and power supply ensure years of reliable operation. The drive also features two Thunderbolt 3 ports, one of which can provide fast device charging, and includes SAS Expansion and SAS Host connections for linking other SAS devices or using it with non-Thunderbolt workstations. The SymplyPRO Rack LTO-9 configurations can achieve transfer speeds of up to 400 MB/sec per drive or 900MB/sec in compressed format.
Each SymplyPRO LTO Rackmount is housed in a sturdy and sleek metal alloy enclosure, complete with dual fans for effective cooling and a high-quality power supply. The rackmount systems come equipped with two Thunderbolt 3 ports for daisy chaining and device charging, as well as a SAS expansion port and SAS host connectivity port for connecting other SAS devices or using the drive with non-Thunderbolt workstations.
All SymplyPRO LTO Rackmount configurations are compatible with the Linear Tape File System (LTFS), enabling users to easily drag and drop files like they would with a conventional hard drive. This eliminates the need for backup or archive software and allows for easy data interchange using LTO cartridges or transferring data to and from hard drives or SSDs.
In addition to its superior hardware, the SymplyPRO LTO Rackmount comes with the feature-rich SymplyATOM software for effortless operation and maintenance. The system is also compatible with popular backup and archive utilities for both macOS and Windows, including YoYotta LTFS, Hedge Canister, Xendata, Tiger Technology Bridge, Retrospect, and Archiware P5.
